Step Rowe is pleased to announce a new filmmaking class rolling out for Fall Semester! "Introduction to Filmmaking" will cover the basics of film production, including directing, producing, cinematography, lighting, sound, and editing. Over this ten week course, students will learn the process of taking a film from paper to screen.
Taught by UT Film student, director, screenwriter, and actor Mitch Collier, and overseen by Keene Studios owner/instructor, Step Rowe, this class gives aspiring filmmakers the basics they need to begin producing their first short film.
The class will meet weekly with some shooting and editing work TBD by the schedules of the students. At the end of the semester, students will have an opportunity to work with the studio in creating the showcase videos that will screen at the Alamo Drafthouse on January 2nd.
